How this generator decides which template to show
Question 1 picks a candidate template from the same 8-template library as the paid kit. If question 2 has only "No AI was used" checked, that overrides question 1 and always shows the neutral no-AI template instead, regardless of what was picked above -- a real "designed as a digital template, but no AI touched it this time" listing should get the honest no-AI wording, not a mismatched AI-disclosure sentence. For every other template, this tool checks your question 3 and question 4 answers against that exact template's own fixed wording: if the template's sentence states the AI output used your own original prompt, question 3 must be "Yes"; if it states the result was reviewed and finished by a human before publishing, question 4 must be "Yes." A mismatch means showing that template's literal text would state something that isn't true for your process, so this tool declines to show it rather than silently editing the reviewed wording.

Where does this generator's wording actually come from?
Every disclosure sentence this tool can produce is copied, word for word, from the 8-template library in our paid Etsy Seller AI-Disclosure Compliance Kit -- the same file (content.py) generates both the kit's PDF and this page's data, so there is exactly one place the wording is authored. This tool only picks which of the 8 already-written templates matches your answers and fills in your shop name where the template calls for it (Template T5 only); it never invents, rephrases, or blends new sentences.
Why does it ask about prompts and human review instead of just giving me a sentence?
Several of the templates state, in their own fixed wording, that the AI output was based on your own original prompt, or that a human reviewed and finished the result before publishing. If your real answer to either question is no, using that exact template would put a sentence in your listing that isn't true for your process. Rather than silently editing the reviewed wording (which this tool is built never to do), it declines to show a mismatched template and explains why -- so you can either answer honestly for a different template, or adjust your own process and wording by hand.
